thanks:) as a base colour I put black and XV-88 mix, from citadel range (the one that looks like good old snakebite leather). then I put pure xv and then 2 or 3 layers mixes of this color with white. End up with pure white as a final highlight. Then I start to glaze. First with this xv88 (this name is really weird;D ) and then some more with brigher mixes. When you put those glazes it gives this yellow effect which is important in gold. As a final glaze i put a little snot green next to some brightest areas, just to achieve some interesting colour play on the mini:) without glazing it looks a little pale and boring. Also it smooths everytning, so thats the most important part I guess:) cheers! loler
