Hello World

By the last time I painted the boys of Nurgle, the target level of TT +
I have fun a little cold and warm tones on armour, this is very interesting experience and I try use it in future on my next models.
At every model we can learn something new this is wonderful.

FULGRIM PRIMARCH OF THE EMPEROR'S CHILDREN by LuK

By the last month I worked on a model of Fulgrim. Starting painting was completely unaware the amount of detail that he has. I spent a lot of time to finish the details of the NMM, which I do not feel good.
  The assumption of the model had nicely presented and catches the eye.

Tau Commander

Hello

Holiday time is slowly ending, and I sit down to paint again. For the last time I fought with Commander Tau and decided to finish the project by the end of holiday. Model eventually was painted for the game or the level of TT ++
For the base color (as described earlier) I added a brown oil wash and damage has been also done using oil paints (description available in our tutorials). For contrast and variety to the model I added a modest OSL effect (I'm not an expert in this ), results are visible in the pictures.

Czas wakacji powoli się kończy i mogę znów zasiąść do malowania. Przez ostatni czas walczyłem z komandorem tau i postanowiłem zakończyć ten projekt do końca wakacji. Model docelowo został pomalowany do gry czyli poziom TT++
Do koloru bazowego ( opisanego wcześniej ) dodałem brązowego olejowego washa , a damage został zrobiony również przy pomocy farb olejnych ( opis dostępny w naszych tutorialach). Dla kontrastu i urozmaicenia modelu postanowiłem dodać skromny efekt OSL (  nie jestem w tym mocno doświadczony) rezultad widoczne na zdjęciach.

Tau Commander W.I.P.

Some time ago I started working on a model of the commander, to army Tau. But I had to stop it because of the competition MoI, to which I painted something different.
Now the project is back on my desk, but I changed him a little. Conception remains the same, the color red and a lot of scrapes and chipping armor. But I decided a little different approach to color armor. I wanted to obtain fairly strong contrast, therefore to shade I used paint Blue Angels from VMA mixed with the base color ie  Skorne red from p3 in the ratio of 50/50. In addition, in the midtones added Liche purple color from CC to change the standard red and obtain interesting discolouration.
I used for brightening the color of Khador red base of p3, and where I wanted to get strong saturation I placed him on white primer. In a few places I added orange glaze painted Khador red highlight from p3 to break red.
That's it when it comes to armor, at this stage I can say that I am satisfied with the current color because it was experiment.
Battle damage is in the initial phase, most of the remnants of previous assumption.
Any suggestions and opinions are welcome.

Cześć Jakiś czas temu rozpocząłem prace nad modelem komandora, do armi Tau. Musiałem jednak przerwać je z uwagi na konkurs MoI, na który to malowałem coś zupełnie innego.Teraz projekt powrócił na moje biurko, ale trochę go zmieniłem. Koncepcja pozostaje ta sama, czyli barwa czerwona i sporo zadrapań i odprysków pancerza, jednak postanowiłem trochę inaczej podejść do samego koloru pancerza. Chciałem uzyskać dość mocny kontrast dlatego do cieniowania użyłem farby Blue Angels od VMA pomieszanej z kolorem bazowym tj. Skorne red od p3 w stosunku 50/50. Dodatkowo w tonach średnich dodałem koloru Liche purple od CC żeby zmienić standard czerwieni i uzyskać ciekawe przebarwienie. Do rozjaśniania użyłem koloru Khador red base od p3, a tam gdzie chciałem uzyskać mocne nasycenie kładłem go na biały podkład. W kilku miejscach dodałem pomarańczowe glejzy farbą Khador red highlight od p3, żeby przełamać czerwień.To tyle, jeśli chodzi o  pancerz, na tym etapie mogę powiedzieć że jestem zadowolony z obecnego koloru z uwagi że był to eksperymen. Battle damage narazie bardzo wstępnie, większość to pozostałości po poprzednim założeniu.Ewentualne sugestie i opinie mile widziane .

today I'd like to show you my Eldar Farseer.

As it's paited for Ebay I chose standard color scheme presented on GW site. It was a little bit boring for me, and nothing new to learn during painting so I decided to add more freehands to make it better. OSL on hand, some golden border line at the bottom of the robe (it's lolers thing and it fits perfect to almost every detail on the miniature :P ), runes at the sides and back of the cloak and tear under the right eye:)

The most important freehand on this mini was the black and white design at the bottom of the cloak. It was taken from the book Victorian Foliage Designs by James K. Colling. I bought this book in the "shop with cheap books" for around 10zł (it's about 3$). I highly reccomend this book to everybody who search for some freehands inspirations;)

Final WIP Chaos Space Marine Lord

I welcome you after a break caused by the indisposition of my eye. Unfortunately, this caused a delay in painting my Lord of Chaos and now I can only show WIP. I hope that next week I can finish painting the model.

Quality Matters

Hi,

It will take me some time to clean and prepare Necron hereos. Below you can see 'progress' of the two (from three) models, on which I've applied a lot of liquid green stuff. I must admit that I'm "happy" having these models in Finecast. Quality matters. Actually looking at my entire collection these models have the worse quality of all of my models. Rest of the necron hereos look much more better. As for the big plan, I'm hoping to finish cleaning these guys today. As for the painting scheme I'll use as a basis the original ones. Stay tuned for more.

WIP Chaos Space Marine Lord

Hello
This time I will show you WIP Chaos Space Marine Lord on which, currently working on. For now focused on coat where I try my best on first Freehands.
I admit that it is not a simple art and requires a lot of practice, but it gives a lot of satisfaction and it really changed the model forbetter.
So I think that it is worth working on this art, and I have such an intention.
Here are pictures of my struggle with Freehands.

I know this is not ideal but I had to try.

Painting Dark Angels Ezekiel - part two

Hi.

Well, Ezekiel is finally finished. With this model my aim was to paint a model on the higher level then necrons. I wanted to improve my blending a little bit. On the next model I've to focus more on the coat. I've always a little bit problem with metallics and thanks to this model I've move a little bit further with quality of my painting within this field.
