Dark Vengence Lord Kranon WIP

Hi,

I wanted to show you something I was working lately. I'm painting this miniature as a commission and the goal was to paint him very similar to my CSM Aspiring Champion. I experimented a little on his armor but I think now it looks more like silver NMM than black but it’s a cool effect I think. I'm very happy with the scale 75 blood and fire set because with those you can paint very saturated red colors. I will make the cape a little dirty and worn because it’s not suiting for a Chaos Space Marine to have such a nice cape :P. This miniature has much detail and is very challenging but I hope you like ho thing are shaping.

After seeing the photos I think I will correct some parts especially those orgs on his sword. I like making WIP photos so I can look at the miniature from time to time and figure out what to change.

Mila Kusanagi mark 2.0

Hi,

Recently I got my firs commission and I'm very happy that I get to paint Mila Kusanagi from Andrea Miniatures once more. I like this miniature very much and it gives some surface to practice some NMM and additional stuff. This time I wanted her to have different colors but similar to my latest Infinity ALEPH Deva minis. Ok here you have some WIP photos so you can see what progress I have made so far. Slayer Lord - WIP

I wanted to show you on what miniature am I working now. It’s a new Slayer for the WFB Dwarf army. I like this mini very much and I have much fun painting him. There are some things I must fix but I hope to finish him around the end of this week.

Infinity ALEPH Deva Functionaries - WIP 1.0

Hello,

Here you have a little WIP of my recent work. I'm painting two Deva Functionaries for my Infinity ALEPH army. I know that it’s to much for playing purposes but I have much fun painting those tiny models and it’s a nice way to practice some details. I hope to finish them next week so I can paint something serious at last. The second Deva need's some more work to finish. Here you have some photos.

Black Legion Chosen WIP 1.0

Hi,

After finishing Fulgrim I began painting a Chaos Space marine model I have bought some time ago. I have a bigger project in mind and I wanted to practice some new ideas on this model. I wanted his armor to have a some king of demonic shine and I'm practicing some OSL on this miniature. By now I have much work to do on this model but the largest surfaces are almost done. Some parts of the golden NMM need some correcting and I will blend them to be smooth because yesterday I was painting till late night and my eyes ware tiered. So here you have some photos of this project :D.

In near future I will paint some other Chaos Space Marine models so stay tuned. Feel free to comment and tell me if you like my progress on this miniature.

Fulgrim Commission - sort of a WIP :D

Hi,

It's me REDAV. You will wonder why I'm painting this model because the last update about this one was from Loler. It's not common knowledge but Loler broke his painting arm and he was not fit to finish this project. We all told him that he should not play volleyball because he sucks so hard that he can break his hand doing it :P. I, as a good friend, wanted to help him and I'm finishing this one. So thats the story and you can see that this model looks like a mix of my and Loler's painting styles. As you can see this is a finished model but I have to paint the original scenic base for this model and it will take me some time. So here are some photos. 

So I hope you will like this project and stay tuned for the finished project. Any comments are welcome as always.

Commander Farsight

Today I show you my lastest projekt, it is again Tau model. This time I'm painting Commander Farsight. I decided use different color pallet  than in the previous model. Base color is  the same how I use painting Commander Shas'o R'alai (Skorne red P3) but I highlight using blazing orange (CC). To paint shadows I use Mahagony paint (VMA) and in middle tone - purple (liche purple CC).

What you think about this W.I.P. model?

Luz - New York - WIP 1.4

Hello,

I think this will be mu last WIP post with this model because I'm getting to the end. Last night I painted some Metallic parts and I must say that I haven't painted with metallics for ages and I don't have much experience in this mater. I wanted to paint with them as with NMM and I hope it looks good. Here you have some photos of my model.

 

I think today I will manage to finish her. Things to do for today are:
- painting her hair,

- some details ala medallions on her cape,
- some cleaning of places that I'm not happy with :D.

So keep you fingers crossed and tell my what dou you think about this one and my approach painting with metallic paints.

Luz - New York - WIP 1.3

Hi,

It's me RED and I wanted to show you how my project looks like now. After the last update I decided to remake those leather parts that I didn't like and I wanted to add some more light to them. The effects you cans see for your selves. I hope you like where this project is going :P

I must work on her eyes to ad them more shine because now they are to dark. With this project the more I look on those photos the more things I find that need to be redone :P. Do you have similar problems ?? :D

Hi,

I have had some more time to paint and I made some progress with my project. Here you have some photos.

As you can see there is sill much work to be done but I'm happy with my progress. I try to do my best with this model and I want to paint it in my style but I hope it will be something different. I like this scale because it has some challenges and I'm learning much on this miniature. Ok back to work :P.

Luz - New York - WIP 1.0

Hi,
Today I want to show you my progress on a model that I wanted to paint for this year's Hussar competition. About a year ago I have bought Nocturna models figure called Luz New York. Its a model based on Luis Royo's artworks. I am a big fan of him and when I saw this one I could not resist to buy and paint this miniature.
I wanted to paint it so it will be as close to Royo's artworks. Here you can see some artworks. 

And now for my miniature.

At this point I finished her black cape and I have started working on her skin. There is much work to do on this miniature but I have much fun painting her and experimenting. I want her to be painted in a realistic style and this is something new for me. So what do you think ?? Any comments are welcome as always.
