All of us (Thebrushbrothers) had a little break from blogging recently. Fortunately, not from painting:) I have few works I haven't shown anywhere on the internet and I'll try to fix that in a few days:) Also, Redav have some new miniatures, I'm sure he's gonna share them with you:)

For now, I'll show you my recent work, another farseer painted by my, a commission work for a collector:)

This miniature won bronze in Master of Imagination 2012, single sci-fi category.

Eldar Guardians are ready to defend the Craftworld.

Hi,

I took me some time to finish this squad and I wanted to paint them on the same level as my Jet Bikers. I can say that it was a challenge for me bacause its not so simple to paint 10 models at once and not get bored painting. Here you have a photo o the finished squad with a Scater Laser weapon platform.

The next project on my workbench will be a Grey Knight Terminator for our Competition and I will make a step by step tutorial how to pain one so stay tuned for more.

Eldar Guardian Defenders - WIP

Hi

It has been a long time since I posted something, but now I started to paint my Eldar Guardians. I wanted them to my army so I changed the standard Biel Tan scheme and swapped white with grey. My goal is to paint them on the same level as my Jet Bikers and I hope they will look ok. Here you can see some photos of the progress I made so far.

On those guys I managed to paint some NMM's but there is still some work to be done.

And here it the rest of my 10 strong squad. As you can see I managed to paint the armor plates and their suits. The next step is to paint weapons and some small NMM details.

I will try to finish them and the weapon platform this week because the Grey Knight release date is close and I want to start working on my Terminator next week so I could make a step by step tutorial on him.

Eldar Jet Bike Squad - at last finished :P

Hi,

Finally I have managed to finish my Jet Bikers and I'm happy with the result.

I painted them as my gaming models but I wanted to make them interesting so I came up with those cracks so you can see them at first glance. I haven’t converted those two drivers because I wanted to have some old ones in this unit and the will stand out a little from the rest and it will be easy to see those weapon specialists.

And here you have a family photo of the whole squad.

Now I'm working on some Eldar Guardians because my army needs to be painted ^_^.

Two bikes finished and two more to go - Eldar Jet Bikers WIP

Ok I finally had some time to finish those bikers and now I will post some :D. Ok I managed to finish all drivers and now I'm painting the last two jet bikes.

Here you have some photos

Two complete Bikers

Two bike drivers for shreeker jet bikes.

One of those jet bikes didn’t go as planed and I’m not entirely happy with his canopy but I didn’t wanted to repaint it because they are only for playing purposes. I hope you wont kill me for this heheh ;)

Grey parts ware made using:

- the base color was Adeptus Battle Grey

- shades ware made using a mix of Adeptus Battle Gray and chaos black (proportions 1:1)

- first highlight was made using Fortress Grey,

- then I used a mix of Fortress grey and skull white (1:1),

- the final highlight was made with white - I made it only in few places.

Green amour was made using:

- Orkhide Shade as base color,

- Orkhide Shade with some Regal Blue (2:1) for shades,

- Dark angels Green as first highlight,

- Vallejo Goblin green as next highlight,

- final highlights war made using Rooting Flesh.

Brown leather parts ware made using;

- Bestial Brown as base color,

- shades war made using a mix o Bestial Brown and regal blue (1:1),

- first highlight was done with Snakebite Leather

- next highlight was made using a mix of Snakebite Leather and Bleached Bone (1:1),

- final highlight was made using Bleached Bone,

Blue gems and sword wars made using:

- Necron Abyss as shade and base color,

- Regal Blue as first highlight,

- Enchanted Blue as next highlight,

- next up was a mix of enchanted blue and skull white (1:1),

- Skull White for blinks and final highlight.

I hope this will help you fellow painters and let me know what do you think about those miniatures.

little progress

Hi
I made a freehand on my farseer's cape. Wanted to make sth delicate, soft... I'm not sure whether I like it or not.
anyway here's the photoAlso I just bought a 54mm White Wolf from Andrea Miniatures. I think it's amazing model with lot of character and great detailing.
But before I can start painting it I need to finish few other minis:/ Guess I'll start in few weeks or a month...

Eldar Howling Banshee Exarch

Hi,

I finally managed to paint this model and my 10 strong Banshee squad is complete. I had much fun painting her. I wanted her to have a clean look and I added some shiny effects here and there. I hope you like her.
You can see better pics in my CMON gallery and leave some comments there hehe.

Next model will be for our blood crusher challenge so it will take some time.

Good night,

Eldar Jet Biker WIP

Hi. It’s is time to paint my 6 Eldar Jet Bikers because I with them all the time them and they look stupid as man less and grey bikes .
I don’t fancy the old drivers and I converted this one using bits from Eldar Guardians and Dire Avengers. The color scheme will be similar to my Wraithlord with few changes. I’m planning to paint freehands on all Jetbikes. Stay tuned for more.
