Hello World! Today I can finally show you painted Imperial Fist Captain. I must admit that this was a great experience for me. Scale75 paints are really good. With this model I've also tested my digital camera and hopefully the pics are looking better then before. You can check the last pic, which was made the former way. Web Exclusive Space Marine Sergeant

Hello everyone

Over the last days I worked on a limited model Sergeant Space Marines, which dig up out of my collection. It's a very nice model and nice to me it painted .
The colors have remained the standard for Sergeant Ultramarines, only added white insertions and purple shadows for variety of color.

Master of Imagination

Hi!
Long time no see:) I had some hard time during the university but now I'm finally on my holiday. Last weekend there was a competition- Master of Imagination in which some of us entered (me, Redav, Luk and our new brother!!! - soon more info on that). It was a great day, made some new friends, met the old ones and we even got some trophies:) Luk got first cut in large model (which was the hardest in the competition- Karol Rudyk and Bohun entered there and won gold and silver). Redav won bronze in the same category (congrats mate!) and I was lucky enough to get bronze in fantasy single, bronze in sculpt and silver in sci-fi single. I also won the speed painting competition:) As for the new Brushbrother- he also got a trophy but I'll leave it for him to tell you more:) The prizes were very nice, statuettes beautiful and the general atmosphere was brilliant. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos on the event. We were to busy talking to all the epic people we've met, but luckily there are some photos from the event on other blogs.

Soon there will be an official coverage by White Tree (organizers of this competition- Thank you again Rakso and Ignis for making this event for us). I'll post it when it's done.

As for my miniatures I entered one of the miniatres I already posted here- a baby Cthulhu by maow miniatures. Also a sculpt of a little lonely robot (photos soon!).

Ultramarines Army up closer part 2

Contepror Dreadnought

Hello

Some time ago I've decided to paint a model for pure pleasure. I wanted to do something different, to try other techniques, and the choice fell on the Conteptor Dreadnought from FW, I once bought at auction with the intention in adding it to my army.
Presented model is not much different in color from the rest of the army. It is also blue but painted using completely different technique, my intention was to juxtapose contrasts from white through three shades of blue to black.
Dirt and damage was also done another way, I used oil paints and dry pigments.
The model was placed on CoolMiniOrNot to my surprise received 8 positive comments and was one of the Top Last 7 Days.
I was asked what technique did the damage and where you can read about it.. This prompted me to write a short article about the use of oil paints in miniature modeling.
In the next post I will try to show you how to use oil paints and which should be avoided during application.

Drop pod dropped

Hello everyone,
 Today I'm showing you the model of drop drop  which I finished two months ago. As you can see the drop is for my ultramarines army, it layed years in the box, and finally his turn came.
I tried to take care of all the details inside the model which I found fairly time consuming but it brought the desired effect. I decided that from outside the model will look like the rest of my army that is battered and muddy with some stains added .
This is the result of long work.

NEW STRENGHT IS COMING

Hello everyone

My name is Luke, I live  in Poland. I've painted miniatures for two years and I'm still learning. It gives me a great joy and pleasure.

The whole adventure started with painting Warhammer 40K in which I play Ultramarines army. Most of the painted models are just for my army.

In courtesy of my mates I joined The Brush Brothers, and I would like to thank them for that.

For two years I was able to paint most of my army at different levels, some of them are my first painted models.I still have a little more to paint before it is fully complete, though it is playable and mobile now.

I will try to regularly post my work and short articles of my observations.

It's been a loong time since my last post, unfortunately due to some health issues I wasn't able post anything. In time of net silance I was hard working on two models - fifth Sternguard Veteran and Gabriel Seth. Both models are for my Blood Angels army. So far I didn't finished backpacks for my vets, but I'll do it in near future. As for the current projects, I have a plan to finish my last two open projects - fifth Drop Pod and a BA Dreadnought. Looking ath my work schedule I'll finish this projects around middle of December. My next project will be Garagrim Ironfist from the Dwarfs range.

One from the coolest dwarf models. As for the BA models, I was experimenting with red. This time I didn't used airbrush for the red. Yep, that's it. Till next time.

Also I started to work on a dark eldar sucubus. The cast is so poor! thousands of mould lines and defects;/ I was very dissapointed with it:( but I'm happy I've cleaned it and that the fun part is about to happen;)
